Yeah, we miss the office too. But great news: Monk & Psych are back on January 11! We especially like Psych because the writers are obviously our age. Shawn & Gus are always referencing hilarious things from our childhood.
So here's to Tivoing hours syndicated reruns and the prospect of new episodes of the USA network's crime-solvers.

With an overwhelming 60% of the vote, it appears that Jim and Pam will go their separate ways in the next few days. Someone should inform the writers and the AMPTP to get together and make it happen. I'm not sure how much of a victory I can claim since I accounted for two of the five votes.
The interesting thing about the writer's strike is that the major sticking points are over "new media." Content delivery is changing faster than my cable modem and the world is struggling to keep up. How do you leverage a youtube video with 4 million views to maximize conversions? How do you monetize online content delivered to cell phones? Who gets that money? This strike is not about one side arguing for a bigger piece of the pie, but about how a whole new pie should be sliced. And we can't even tell how big this pie will be.
I have to say the strike has reduced the amount of television Tatum has watched. Obviously because it has affected the amount of television we've watched. We enjoyed the new episodes of Monk and Psych on USA. It's been pretty quiet other than that. I'm not sure how many more reality and game shows I can take!
So what shows do you miss the most? Vote in the new poll today! If your show is not listed, leave a comment here.
Teri is elated for two reasons:
- The writers of the office granted her wish and didn't make her wait forever for Jim & Pam to get together
- I was wrong to say that Jim & Pam would be toast by Thanksgiving.
UPDATE: Teri is insisting that I add the option "Temporary break up with subsequent get-back-together episode" to the list of poll answers. She's still in denial, but this is progress towards the truth.
